Aaron Bernabe - Apartment Association of New Mexico

As Vice President at WaFd Bank, Aaron brings a wealth of expertise in financing a broad range of commercial enterprises, with a focus on industrial and multifamily properties. He holds a bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of New Mexico and a bachelor’s in International Management from the Anderson School of Management. Aaron serves as Treasurer for both the Public Charter Schools of New Mexico and AANM and is an active member of NAIOP. In addition to his banking career, he owns and manages two commercial properties, which house Urban Hotdog Company and the Owl Café. A proud New Mexican, Aaron enjoys hiking, camping, and all things spicy. He’s also an avid soccer player and a passionate supporter of New Mexico United.
